Nice owner and considerate with your food. I respect the no discrimination. I got the brisket poutine and 1/2 lb brisket. To begin, let's start with the price point. The 1/2 lb brisket doesn't make sense with its price because it's only two pieces. However, the brisket poutine is worth it with the quantity. The quality of the food and taste is fantastic! I hope this local business thrives because of the owner and his life story. Overall, they deserve 5- stars, and I usually give critical reviews.
I mean, damn. Photos shown are brisket poutine, and HALF, yes, HALF of the Piggy pulled pork sandwich. They waited until pickup to put the gravy on the fries, so thoughtful. The absolute ONLY thing, as a personal preference only, would be maybe 50% less gravy as it’s a verrry thick, heavy one. Otherwise, we loved it! Great East End spot.
World class BBQ. Ben and his wife really do Southern Cooking justice, the sauces, flavours are amazing. Juiciest brisket you will ever have, you don’t even need the sauce trust me. Everything else is fall off the bone good. Check them out.
Just wow. Tried this place because of a reddit thread and it was so worth it. Owner has a great vibe and was very cool. Explained what they had and where we should start at as newbies. We got the Mac and Cheese, Pulled Pork and Jerk Chicken/fries. It was hard to drive home without ripping into the bag it smelt so good. The food was amazing; great portions, and the flavour was definitely there. I'm not great with spice so the chicken kicked my ass but was delicious nonetheless. Mac and Cheese was so smokey and flavourful. The pulled pork has a delicious sweetness to it and whether you eat it on bread or alone it is so damn good. Even the fries, crispy and delicious. I truly don't think they have a bad dish for sale. The prices are insanely good for the servings and the fact it's BBQ. I will definitely be returning to try the rest of their menu. Keep up the amazing work, your food is 10/10!
If this place isn't lined up out the door or sold out then you've lucked out because it should be! Some of the best BBQ available in the city at an affordable price. Fall off the bone ribs, wings. Fries were crispy. Owner is friendly and dedicated to his craft serving up ample portions of smokey goodness. Don't give it a second thought, you have got to eat here!
If I could give more stars, I would. The owner was very pleasant. The pulled pork was juicy, and delicious. Best I’ve ever had. The wings had bold smokey flavor, and just the right amount of heat. If you’re a BBQ lover, this is your place
Great food and lovely people. Brisket was good but the chicken wings & ribs were amazing. Great smokiness to them and the ribs were fall off the bones! The bread went well with the food too. Came all the way from Brampton to try this place out and would definitely come back!
Its probably the best BBQ joint in Hamilton, they just know how to do it the right way. Its walk in only as far as I know. The owner is a patriot and a truly interesting guy, and overall the service is excellent. The meat platter is beyond good, you never get a sense of compromise only consistency every time you order. The short - pulled pork is excellent, the brisket - excellent, the sausages really good - they are very similar to Denniger's kielbasa style sausages smoked. Wings - excellent. The fries - very good especially with gravy, the bread is decent although thats not what your coming for so whatever. Cost per person can be cheap 10-20 if you order per person, or moderate 30-40 per person depending on what you are ordering. Leftovers are guaranteed however. A must try.
